Regional Identification Center

BE DISCOVERED!

The Georgia Soccer Regional Identification Centers (RIC's) are the first step in our pathway to forming State Olympic Development Program (ODP) teams and beyond to ODP Regional and National Pools, Events and Selections.

The State of Georgia, with over 30,000 players, is one of the more successful states in the South region routinely advancing players to Regional and National Pools. The centers are designed to be in areas of member clubs to serve their local and surrounding areas while providing an opportunity for players to receive advanced training with a view of being scouted into the State ODP Pool.

For the 2021-22 seasonal year there are 4 RIC's. Each RIC will hold tryouts for birth years 2008 - 2011 and form a RIC Pool. Our RIC Scouts & Coaches will run a series of ten training sessions for their pools and end with competition against other RIC's in a central location.

The goal of these RIC's are to give advanced training to players in the pools supplemental to their Club training, teach the ODP state playing style and prepare for advancement into the State pool. When a player excels, the player earns the opportunity to advance and be selected to the State pool.

The RIC Northeast Georgia location Online Payment Process is now Open.  The tryout fee is $45
